Seff had been walking for what seemed like forever, and the sound of his own footsteps was beginning to make him feel uneasy.
He had travelled a long way since he woke that morning, and he was in need of rest. But still, he carried on walking, hoping that soon enough he would reach a town or at least somewhere with a place he could use as shelter for the night.
He pulled out the tattered map which he carried with him, and inspected it with a quizical expression. He hadn't looked at it in a long while, and it seemed that he had travelled further that day than he had thought.
Seff took one last glance at the map and folded it back up again. He carried on walking, his eyes searching the horizon as he hoped to catch his first glimpse of the city of Calamere.
