Kuna looked at Liam. He asked to dance with her? That was unexpected. "Yes. That will be nice." Kuna held out her hand to him. "What am I doing? I hate dancing! But he did ask nicely so I guess it can't hurt." Kuna smiled at him. I can't wait to be able to go outside the city soon. Then I won't have to worry about stuff like this so much. She noticed a striking blue haired girl walk in with a wolf. That was unusal not many people bought pets here. It didn't matter though the wolf seemed tame enough to be safe. "Are you ready?"

Liam led the princess out on the dance floor, a began to twirl her in a gentle lilt. "This is how they dance in Aureate." He explained.
He wished that he could show her the more elaborate spins and lifts like the ones in his court, but he sensed that they would make he uncomfortable.

Bella had finished her conversation with Rose and walked towards a side wall. Once there she looked around. The dashing young man she saw earlier was dancing with the princess, she still didn't know his name.
Then Bella realized the only person she knew was Rose, and that wasn't very well at all. She started to feel utterly lost.
"Please someone help me!" Bella whispered to herself as she fought back tears.

Father Luca had finished his conversation with Kai, he watched with a smile as Liam and the princess were dancing, he was standing near Bella and heard her whisper, "Is everything alright?" he asked softly and kindly.

"No wait!" Lienne couldn't stop herself. She grabbed Kai's arm and held onto it tightly. She immdiately let go and blushed furiously. What was she doing? She had always been alone since...since...she turned her head from him. "What was that all about? I don't need anyone! I have Kuro I need no one else!" She stormed off to Kuro and whistled softly to him Kuro immdiately followed obidiently. She faced Kai before leaving. "I'm sorry for my actions. I asure you that I'm not usually like this." And with that she left the court and for a reason she couldn't understand tears brimming in her eyes.

Kai looked at the blue haired girl who grabbed his arm and then left so quickly. Even though he ahd only met her for a few minutes her last movements were definetley out of character. He had no idea why but he felt he should go after her. Looking for Rose he saw her talking to different people. Making his way over to her and quickly said goodbye. Then making his way to the exit he started looking for the directin the girl might've gone in. deciding he'd just have to look he gave up trying to look purposely and took to wandering around.

Rose turned as she felt Kai tap her on the shoulder. He said his goodbyes quickly then hurried out of the door. She watched him leave and wondered why he was in such a rush. Rose saw Bella talking to someone else by the door, Good, at least she's meeting people she thought to herself. She smiled and turned back to Arikain.

"Oh - thankyou." He said awkwardly, looking worriedly down at himself. "You - you look lovely too." He smiled at her. He exhaled slowly - a dance wasnt really his scene at all, but as a member of the king's army he felt he should have made an appearance. "Some punch?" He asked, Ladling some more into another glass and offering it to Rose.
He looked over at Brynna, and waved. "Yes... She doesn't look to happy about it though!Come on, we could go and talk to the King together, if you wanted. I've got to see himt oo, so..." He grinned at her, and took her arm, making as if to lead her over to the King.

"I'm so glad to find someone to talk to. though I still feel like a lost child." Bella said. "You know the kind who just attach to any kind person who will let them. I would love to meet lots of these people, but I'm far too frightened."

Laedra frowned a little at theKing's remarks.
"My Liege," She said before the King swept off the beautiful Brynna to dance with her. "I assure you - although I may lack physical strength, I am faster than most, and I have the advantage of being able to fly. Even if I cannnot win against these two - very worthy opponents - I assure you, I will give this my all. I will not rest until I have at least proved to you that I am a worthy contestant!" Nodding her head respectfully, Laedra turned around and wandered over to where two others - a priest and a girl ((Father Luca and Bella - were talking.
"Excuse me!" She smiled. "I couldn't help overhearing a little of your conversation, and I too have only just arrived in Calamere! I'm very pleased to meet you both; I am Laedra."

Rose coloured slightly at Arikain's compliment, but not enough for herself to be noticed. Thankfully, her cheeks were already warm from the entire atmosphere of the ball. She accepted the punch from Arikain gratefully, and sipped it slowly whilst they watched the dancing couples. Arikain mentioned about Brynna, Rose replied:
"If she is unhappy, she's hiding it quite well, though I suppose you know her better than I do!" she paused, and watched insilence as the King and Brynna danced close to where they were standing. When they had moved away again, she continued: " She's certainly in safe hands with the King. He seems very laid back, much more than I was expected him to be..." she trailed off, tilting her head to one side and watching the King's smiling face closely. Although, Rose decided, he was probably much more serious on issues such as war, issues where his kingdom's safety was a stake.
Arikain offered his arm, and she took it happily, Glad that she wouldn't have to face the King alone. It wasn't that he himself appeared menacing, more that the prospect of her meeting royalty seemed increasingly daunting...
