Well, there is already an opportunity like this if people want to jion the army! All you have to do is say you want to join and then the King sayd, "Yes, you look like a strong warrior... blah" And you're an army member. So far only Arikain has jioned though!

But anyway, once you're an army member you can train up through the ranks (Every time you make a post of at least 400 words in the Training Grounds you go up a level, of which there are four).

Then the Commanders of each division come up with plot ideas for their division (you can be an axeman, a cavalryman, a swordsman, or an archer/javelinman) and they execute missions and stuff. People can make thread for their missions in the warriors guild, or they can be sent on external missinos around the Golden Lands.

You can be promoted and stuff if you make lots of good posts (by the King and the division Commander) and earn titles like Sir or Lieutenant.

I'm not sure if this is waht people meant! Is this sort of what you mean? I can create another thread in the Warrior's Guild where people are appointed missions, if you wanted? Any feedback is much appreciated! ;D

What we kinda meant were like bounty's like some much money(my character is broke) is offered for the head or if you bring back blah blah blah, certainly the could take care of it, but these seem to be more domistic matters.

400 words? I could do that. However I don't think it fits into my character's personality to join the army. Maybe later once I think over it a bit.

But then again.... a character like her probably wouldnt be off questing either

Your character's pregant? Well that would be a problem. But she could always do quest after she gives birth. Wait no then someone has to take care of the baby.

Well how about every week or something there's a quest that has to be carried out? On a first-come first-serve basis, (As long as it's not the same member every week) we could have different numbers of characters needed, and they could go off on various missions for the King. I'll make a sub-board under the General Boad for planning missions. You're given a task, a list of the equipment you're given by the Royal Estate (), and a time by which the missions needed to be carried out.

Or we could establish a division of spies in the army - that way characters who don't want to fight don't, and I'll know who wants to take part in secret missions. You never know, it could be fun!

Which would people prefer?

I think both, then people have a choice. They has quests like this on another board I RPd on, they were fun

Sounds good to me. I want to try out some of those missions. Especially if one is where you can get a weapon, my character is weaponless (unless you consider his magic) also the idea of joining the army is a tempting one, however the spy one seems more of my character's style. He'll be good at sneaking up on people.

I tell you what, I'll create a Secret Services Guild in the Moot Hall. Then that will be where people can sign up to become spies for the King. And I'll make a thread where quests will be appointed. Sound OK?
