Name: Tsubassa Seiichi
Sex: Male
Age: 21
Rank: Middle Class
Height: Five feet, ten inches tall
Hair: His hair is a bit longer than mid-length, coming down past his shoulders. The color varies throughout, ranging from a light brown to dirty blonde. It falls down gracefully over his left eye and is straight and smooth.
Eyes: His eyes are thin and vivid green. They are not exactly shiny, but they carry a lot of energy and spark. However, they reflect past hardships. When he looks at things, his eyes focus through them (not like x-ray, more as if he can see a deeper meaning behind them, metaphorically speaking).
Appearance: He has a handsome, youthful face, but with a long scar over his left eye, which he keeps covered up out of shame. Not as if he has anything against scars, but that particular one has bad memories attached to it (but I’ll get to that later). Because that particular scar runs over his eye, his vision is highly impaired on the left side. Despite being almost completely blind in the said eye, the appearance on the outside looks normal. He is tall, thin, and athletic. His most prized (and most often worn) article of clothing is a set of robes that is jet black with blood-red/crimson lining about an inch in width on each of the sleeves, the collar, and the hem. He has a tattoo starting on his left wrist, traveling all the way up to his shoulder. It is of black rose thorns twining their way up his arm and spiraling around his shoulder blade.
Personality: Tsubassa is a very calm and thought-out person. He is soft-spoken and very kind, but has a fierce loyalty to all that he calls ‘friend’. However, despite his calm attitude most of the time, when his friends are put in danger by an enemy, he loses his composure and goes on a frightening rampage. This rage is fueled by a will to not loose anyone he has in his life.
History: The son of a successful blacksmith, he had the good fortune to grow up in a large town. Unfortunately, his mother died when he was ten years old, and of a little known illness. His father was all he had left in his world, for he did not have many childhood friends. His father, acknowledged widely as ‘Blade Master’ was very kind to Tsubassa. For many years, he served as not only father, but also tutor and mentor. He once tried teaching Jin how to create weaponry, but much to his father’s amusement, he showed much more talent in wielding the finished product. His father signed him up in a local, basic weapons class. That’s where trouble began. A man came to his fathers shop, and requested a fine sword, at a handsome price. His father agreed, under the terms that he should have a week to make it. The man agreed, and then left. A week later, the man returned, and requested the sword. His father presented a magnificent piece, one that he had poured his heart and soul into. The man didn’t like it, and requested he make it again. His father agreed. A week later, while Tsubassa was training, the man showed up again, and his father presented the sword. Seemingly pleased, the man took the sword, and proffered a large bag of gold. As his father reached for it, the man slew his father with his own sword, then left without paying. Tsubassa returned home to a rather…gruesome sight. That very evening, he packed his things and left, seeking fortune and companionship wherever he may find it, and above all, seeking revenge on the man who killed his father. He received the scar on his travels. He encountered his fathers murderer once, and tried to exact revenge. Things didn’t go so well. Tsubassa came out for the worse and wound up with a scar over his left eye. His vision was never the same.
Magic: Jin learned as a child how to control fire. When he was young, he saw one of his fathers scrolls loose. He read it, and it contained arcane instructions on how to, well, control fire. On his travels, he picked up a small heal spell, not good for major injuries, but still handy all the same. With the pyrotechnics ability, he is able to control, not conjure flames in a variety of ways, with varying degrees of power. Because of being able to control fire, he is also immune to burns. He has not yet mastered it yet. The healing spell is basic, and he mastered it a long time ago.
Weapons: He carries at his right side a broadsword, created by his father. In his left boot, he keeps a long sheathed dagger as backup. He also keeps a pack of throwing knives attached to the outside of his left leg (thigh). He is highly skilled with the broadsword, and equally so with the dagger. When it comes to long range, however, his left eye interferes with his ability to throw knives. He might be able to land a few blades home, but he misses for the most part. He also has some verse in hand-to-hand combat, so he is not totally useless in a brawl. However, the fistfights should be left to someone with more skill.
