All around the city of Calamere are rolling fields of corn, so golden in colour that one might think they were swimming in a vat of liquid metal, and gently sloping green hills. To reach the city you must take a few days to ride across it all, but the sites and people you will encounter will indoubtedly be worth it.

Cody, after he left the Cathedral went for a long walk in the fields of Calamere. He studied the massavie fields wondering how much he has grown to love Calamere in such a short time. After he lost his people to Thern and Rael he had spent three years making his way to the Golden Lands. Now that he had arrived he understood why his people had spoken so highly of the Golden Lands. Yet he felt a dread. Thern and Rael had already sent The Circle after him. The Circle was undoubtly behind the Undead creature that was sent after him. Now that he was closer to the city had hoped that he was safer from the dangerous Circle. Cody brushed the the white hair out of his eyes as he gazed up at the bright sun. Soon he would enter the contest and become the Princess's bodyguard. He stood watching over the fields ponder whether it was a wise choice, he believed protecting the royalty would be a benefinical thing but so would joining the ranks as an officer in the King's army. He sat down on the dusty road lead through the corn fields as he waited for the others in the contest of skill. It was going to be a breeze.

Cody sat for a long time, as he let his body get in tune with Golden Land. He could feel its pain, its people were worried. The world was on the brink of war. He had to make a stand. He would not Thern and Rael destroy this beautiful land. As he released the spirits of the land with his descision, he knew that might live out the usual ten thousand year life span of a Colossus. But ignored the doubt in his mind as he stood up. It was morning. An entire day had passed. He noticed someone was walking throgh the fields towards him, yet he could sense that they were more then one, but two. A mother with child? He waited as he brushed some of his white hair out of his eyes.

Brynna sat contemplatively in the fields, stretching out in the lazy sunshine and not paying all that much attention to what was going on around her. A few birds flittered overhead, and there was a faint rustling of leaves as a warm breeze gently smotthed over the fields, but other than that everything was perfectly still.
Sighing to herself, Brynna closed her eyes and flopped back to the ground, allowing the warmth of the earth to soak into her body and ease away her worries. She had no wish to... She stopped. She didn't even want to think.
Breathing slowly out, she dozed off into a partial sleep, when all of a sudden she was awoken by the sound of heavy footsteps...

Koros had decided to grab some food from the fields when, after grabbing some of the corn, he saw a girl. He called over to her and said " Hey! Whats your name?" He wondered who they could be, doing nothing in a field of corn. But then again, that was where he was, so he couldn't really judge.

Eleanor was lying peacefully, enjoying the warm light washing over her, in the middle of the cornfields when she head a voice speak. Opening her eyes sharply, a fireball glowed in her outstretched palms, as she slowly rose, and peeked above the tall corn plants.
Realising it was just a young man, she released her energy, letting the fireball dissapear, and then, slowly watched as he approached the young girl, doing almost the same thing that Eleanor was doing just a short while ago.

Kon, suddenly heard something crack. Like a stalk of corn or somehting. He drew his sword on his back, and stabbed at it. He saw it was a girl, and he barly moved out of the way to avoid making the cut. " What are you doing here?" he snarled.

((Gah, thats for me to decide, not you. Sorry about the harshness, but i'm strict when it comes to RP-ing. Seriously strict. Thats why i ain't suitable to be a mod. Cos when i patrol, no fun will come out from RP-ing. XD))
Tauntingly, Eleanor retorted. "What? A girl can't lie peacefully in the field? And keep that sword of yours away. It might hurt someone."

(( You don't look over your own post too well though. )) Kon stood up, and put the sword on his soulder. " This areas reaks of smoke. You had conjured fire. Don't lie. And yes, I know that my sword can hurt someone. Thats why I have it."

Thud, thud, thud... the noise came from overhead. A silver dragon flew through the sky. Its massive wings beat slowly like the beat of a drum. A young elf was aboard the beast. She was leaning low on his neck and holding onto a white spine. Land in the clearing Flare. It is large enough. she said mentally. As you wish Arianna. the male landed in the field raking the grass into the ground. Flare turned his lean neck to view her.
Arianna hopped off his back and pet his neck. Her slim figure stood there strongly as the wind blew. You can fly ahead. I'll find someplace for you to stay in the city. she said to him. He nodded and flew up into the air again making her silver hair blow wildly. Arianna watched him fly off into the distance.
