High atop the Castle are its Battlements, a place to go to in time of war, or merely to escape the humdrum of everyday life. The view across the lands so golden in colour that they gave the country its name, is breathtaking, and although the wind blows strong it almost never seems to get cold. It is one of two extremes - a place peaceful enough to help you escape into your thoughts, or a place layered over with the scent of death and warfare.
