Karei stopped when she saw Darhin and smiled. She noticed the pathway was very thin and lead to a dead end. Just as she was moving out of the way for him she felt him bump into her and nearly lost her balance, if he hadn't took a hold of her shoulders. Kar blinked, looking up at him, and felt her cheeks redden slightly when she saw how close they were.
''Yea, ok...''
She said as she carefully eased herself out of the passage and stepped aside to let him out. |

Darhin followed her out and stood behind her, they were both silent as they walked through the maze, neither of them mentioning what had just happened. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed that there was a small light shinning from the pathway on the right, he pointed it out to Karei and they walked towards it. Finally he stepped out, feeling the grass underneath his feet, he smiled. They had made it out of the maze. Turning to Karei he asked, "So what do you want to do now?"

Karei followed him out, realize her skirts and absent-mindly smoothing them out.
''You want to go back inside?''
She offered with a slight smile, looking up at him curiously. |

"Sure, why not," As he walked toward the Castle, he asked, "Is this your first time at a ball? You looked a bit uncomfortable when we were inside." He asked this out of simple curiousity. He did not want to push her, if this was her first time at a ball he wanted her to feel comfortable and he wanted her to enjoy herself.

Karei smiled, once more following him.
''Yes, this is my first time. It's a bit awkward...but I'm enjoying myself so far. I'm glad you were here other wise I'd probably still be standing by that wall.''
She chuckled softly, looking back up at the castle. |

"Then I'm glad to be here for you." He smiled as they began to walked back in. Looking through the glass windows, all of the court was shown to him. He could tell that already things were starting to quiet down, and there were not so many dancers. Instead many people were sitting down, he realized they were awaiting the buffet, so they could start dinner. And at the thought of food he heard his stomach rumble. Turning back to Karei he said, "Want to get something to eat?" He asked as they walked in.
