Cien smiled. "Alright." She paused for a moment, her mind wandering slightly to the letter she had received. Could the elementals be the reason behind the strength of the country? Their added effect to the war would be nothing short of devastating-
She shook her head slightly. 'What am I thinking? Elementals are also people, not just weapons of war...I have no right to feel this way...' Her self admonishment brought her back to her senses. She was not yet involved, and had done everything in her power to stay away, yet her mind kept going back to the place she was running away from. Was it guilt?
Glancing at Brynna, her smile widened. "I really appreciate you showing me around. It's really wonderful of you."

"I'm so happy you wanted to see it!" Brynna exclaimed, her eyes shining. "So... would you like to stay here a while? Or we could go out for a walk or something..>" Casting a wary look around the room, Brynna wan't sure whether it would be better for Cien to stay here and show the other elementals that she was not to be feared, or whether they shoudl elave before things escalated...
Shaking her head, she waited for Cien to reply.

Cien realised that Brynna was leaving her to decide, and for once, she felt unsure. She wanted to stay, but doing so would undoubtedly put them in danger, whether at the present, or in the future. It was inevitable, since the elementals had lived in seclusion for so long and were uneasy around strangers. Acceptance would take more time.
"Why don't we head out?"

"That sounds like a good idea." Brynna exhaled heavily. She yawned; she'd had little sleep like that, and, according to the clock on the wall, the sun should just about be coming up. Rustling her skirts as she prepared to leave, she glowered frostily at Bryna on their way out. Pausing only to pick up her bag, she swept out of the room, flicking out a candle in her annoyance with the man as she went.
((OOC: If you want to carry this on in another thread? Whatever, really!!))
