A small coppice stands next to the river that runs past Elidwen, and it provides a place for people to get away from the village, for children to play, and for lovers to sneak off too. Small enough to be called a coppice and yet big enough to be of some fun to all, it is a pretty green little wood with narrow trees and leafy green plants carpeting the floor.

Cien walked slowly, which to her meant not as briskly as she usually walked but still reasonably fast to other observers. Puru-puru, who was still sitting quietly in her hood gave small "Puu~"s as it bounced in accordance to Cien's gait. The surroundings were serene, and gave her a bit of peace...which unfortunately allowed her mind to travel back to what she did not want to think about. Turning to Lady Brynna, she asked without hesiating, "Please do not take offense, but how much has the war affected this place and on which side does it support?"

Brynna sighed heavily, loosening her hair from the tiny braids twsited and coiled about her head and allowing it to flow free. The long back strands tumbled free from there prison, only to be instantly whipped out by a strong breeze. The night air was cold and sharp. Just how Brynna liked it. She smiled at Puru-puru, and then snapped back to attention as Cein voiced aslightly diificult question.
"It's not... " Brynna struggled to answer. "To be perfectly honest, I don't know all that much about the war. All I know is that the Kingdoms across the Unclaimed Lands are already warring with one another. I beleive the King to be a peace-loving man, and so he has not openly declared which side he would support, if any. I suspect... If it comes to it... That he will support the smalelr countries." She sighed. "That just... seems to be his character."

Cien smiled. "I see. I think...in the end...maybe it is for the best. Someone once said, no peace can be achieved without war..." her voice trailed off as she turned away. It felt strange to be saying something like this in that peaceful surrounding, but Cien felt too strongly to stay silent. It had been eating away at her conscience for too long, and what with all that had been happening...even Calamere was not spared of this. It was enough to drive her mad.
Cien sighed.

((ooc: Okay, nobody minds if I join in here?))
Tsubassa picked his way carefully across the forest, collecting sticks and wood. His thoughts drifted back to his campsite, and to the slowly smoldering fire. He had just put out that morning, and he had assigned himself to collect firewood for the evening. He bent down to snatch up a particularly flammable looking twig. He gave a small smile, and added it to the rest of his collection, cradled in his left arm. He continued in this manner for several minutes, until he became aware of a pair of voices. He was at such a distance that all he could hear were murmurs, but he was intrigued. He hadn’t spoken to anyone for a while, so he followed the source of the voices. As he walked, the forest fell away to an open coppice, where he observed a couple of girls in a discussion about...something. He didn’t know what, and frankly, he didn’t want to intrude. He stepped back a couple of silent paces, and slipped behind the trunk of a large tree. An idea struck him, and he climbed up the tree, and settled himself in the crook of a branch about fifteen feet above the ground. He closed his eyes and relaxed, letting his mind flow with the pattern of the voices rising up to him. He wasn’t even paying attention to the content, merely the way it sounded. He then heard a strange sound, something sounding lke 'Purru'. he gave a start and his eyes snapped open. He was sure he had heard that sound before...
