At the very top of the Tower, surrounded by mists and cloud rolling in from the sea, great white turrets reach up even higher. This is where the Rayen practise their flying, leaping down into the courtyard, or trying to fly higher still and leaving the tower far below them. Young ones are brought here and introduced to heights, and this is where they are tested on their flying skills. Lights are strung around the top of each turret, guiding the Raeyn back to their home after dark.
