Personality: He is cold and bitter, distrusting everyone, he stays in the stalls of the stables, and rarely talks to anyone and has no friends. When people do try to talk to him, he adverts his eyes, shy and unwilling to speak. However underneath his cold exterior, is a kind and caring heart who is cares about others, but doesn't want them to be to close to him. Just in case they do become friends and then later reject him when they find out the truth.
Appearance: Wears rags of what was once fine clothing, but is now beaten and ragged. He has long mangy hair, dark blond, almost brown. His skin is an unhealthy pale, which brings intensifies his eyes.Which are a deep blue, like that of the swaying tide. They have a haunted look in them, a look of one who has to keep a terrible secret.
Character's History: Darhin was once the son of a rich and powerful Baron in a nearby country. He had a great life, rich, handsome, and he could not leave the palace without anyone recognizing him, and giving him praise. The only problem was, that he kept a secret, one from his family and friends.
He was a water elemental.
Water and ice flowed around him in is grasp, it was so easy to manage, smooth and silky. He had discovered his powers, several years ago, when he was just a boy. When he accidental spilled his juice and watched in amazement as it hovered in the air.
Though he was young he understood the significance of his powers and kept them a secret. And continued to do so for many years, when at night he practiced them in silence. Perhaps it would have stayed that way. If it was not for his older brother.
Gerold, his eldest brother, had came in during the middle of the night, for he thought he had heard a noise. One could imagine his shock when he walked in and saw his little brother sitting on his bed, and twirling a small ball of ice around his hands. When Darhin saw him, he was so surprised that the balls fell and crashed against the floor.
He ran away the next day, with the entire town screaming at his heels.
Darhin traveled for many miles before he stumbled upon Calamere, he quickly found work as a stable boy in one of the inns in the city. There he hopes to earn a living, and secretly sneaks away at night to practice his magic.

Weapons: Darhin does not carry any weapons, but knows how to for he, like most noble men, is trained in swordplay, but years of never using his skills have made them rusty.
