Day of Rest ::open::

[Karei]

Karei looked over her shoulder, smiling.
''Good. Do you know where you are headed?''
She asked, directing her attention on the path again as they trotted. She rubbed arai's neck and shoulders lovingly, whispering to him as she awaited an answer.

[Ava]

Faye picked up a faster trot coming up next to Karei. Ava looked at her with a slight shrug "I was planning to get to the next city. If you want you can come with me. I have plenty of food to share and-" She stopped turning her body to the other side grabbing a sack. Without Ava noticing, since she had her head turned the other way Faye stretched out her neck once more and nudged Arai. As soon as Ava came up right again Faye fixed her head forward. Ava held out the bag "Plenty to live comfortably at any inn for along time." Ava was hoping maybe she could be friends with the girl. And hopefully they could travel together maybe.

[Karei]

''Oh, I have enough food. I can escort you to the nearest town. Then I should probably take leave. I can't really stay in one place for very long. I get too restless.''
She smiled, currently ignoring Arai who was fighting her a bit. Kar looked forward, gently biting her lip. What she said was true, she did get very restless when she stayed in one place for too long, but lately she had been yearning for a place to stay. To settle down for at least a little while.

[Ava]

Ava nodded "I wasn't planning on staying in one place for the rest of my life. I really want to see the world I guess." She turned back over and to tie the sack against her sattle. Faye once again reached her head out but this time she playfully nipped him. She turned her head back straight and bent her ear back waiting for Ava to turn back in her seat. Ava tied it tightly then faced forward. She smiled nicely to Karei then looked around the woods in the day time. It was a lot different more calm and pretty, less like a dark creatures home.

[Karei]

''No, I mean I really cannot stay in one place for long. as in a day.''
Karei laugehd softly, shaking her head.
''Many have said its amusing to watch me fidget all day long...''
She gently rubbed her forehead and felt Arai pick up his hind legs playfully. She knew it was Faye but didn't mind for the moment. Dammit, I'm thinking about him again. Stop it. She shook her head, trying to clear her mind.
''Teh enarest town is a couple days so I can stay with you for that long. It's hear in the forest so it's quite small.''

[Ava]

Faye did a soft playful neigh towards Arai as she went to stretch out her neck again. Ava pulled on the reins tightly making her stop and focus on moving along. She did a small laugh and nodded "I understand. Thank you for all your help anyway. I think I can the next town." She kicked Fayes side again telling her to start a canter but she stayed at a trot wanting to stay with Arai. Ava rolled her eyes "Come on Faye. Move it." Faye ignored her wishes and stayed at the same pace.

[Karei]

Karei laughd as they reached her campsite. She dismounted and tied arai up.
''C'mon, lets rest before we get started.''
She said, sitting down by her bags with a heavy sigh.

[Ava]

Ava dismounted from Faye and tied her next to Arai. The young mare lifted her front hoof and slammed it on the gound. Ava patted her on the neck "Be a good girl ok? I know you don't like being tied up but thats how it is." Ava settled herself down where she was that night before and looked at the dead burnt logs. She smirked to herself and wished she was able to control her powers. So she wiggled her fingers and watched a small spark come from her hands but nothing more then a spark, and t was gone.

[Karei]

Karei blinked, watching her.
''You're a fire element?''
She asked, blinking again with curiousity. She settled against her bags, watching Ava curiously.

[Ava]

Ava smiled and nodded "Yes. But my powers have been messed up. From what my father did." She tried again but only getting a little spark. "They only really come when I am scared. I should be able to make them come when i want to. But I haven't been able to." She sighed and smiled "You have an powers?"

[Karei]

Karei shook her head with a weary smile.
''No. Just knowledge and strength.''
She replied. She leaned forward, striking two rocks together and starting a small fire.

[Ava]

Ava grinned "Sometimes I wish I didn't have any powers. But then its really fun to have it." Ava looked at the fire and then back up at Karei "What was your childhood like? Mine was good until my mother died. Then my dad seemed to have changed."

[Karei]

Karei bit her lip and shook her head a bit.
''I had two childhoods, in a way.''
She said, rubbing her arm lightly.
''My parents died when I was eight and most of that time they were raising my to be a lady of nobility. They planned to marry me off to someone with money when I came of age. After they died a farmer took me in and I spent the rest of my childhood there. It's kind of strange...I had friends and some wealth with my parents but I was happier when I lived with the farmer.''
Kar explained after a moment.

[Ava]

Ava listened to her new friend as she talked "I have lived on that farm all my life. My father kept me away from the city and leaving that area. I am kind of excited to get out and about. I never really been to a city." She smiled. Her dark blue eyes caught the attention of Faye trying to play with the stallion. She stretched her head and nudged him gently, or ran her head across his neck. "Faye stop it! Have any manors?"

[Karei]

Karei chuckled, watching the horses play with each other. Due to them being tied up they could do anything too special, which she was glad for.
''I only go to a city or toen when I need to rest. I prefer the woods.''
She said, running her hand through her hair. Kar bit down on her lip gently, sea-blue eyes resting on the fire.

[Ava]

Ava cocked her head to the side "Whats wrong?" She watched her bite her lip. Was it a nervous habit? Ava wasn't too concerned but there could be something wrong. Ava looked up and watched Faye get closer to Arai and started to laugh "She is such a flirt."

[Karei]

''Just thinking.''
Karei replied with a smile. She looked up at the horses and laughed softly.
''I'm gonna have to drag Arai away from her, it seems.''
She said, brushing a stray lock of hair from her eyes.

[Ava]

Faye turned her head to look back at the two girls. She then looked over at Arai and then back at Ava with the most sad face in the world. Ava let out a soft giggle "I think she didn't like hearing that really. Look at her I think she has a crush." Ava got up and gathered her things together "Maybe I should get going before they get too attached."

[Karei]

Karei smiled and shook her head.
''no, it's dangerous. There are bandits and such roaming around the roads. I'll take you to the nearest town. It's only about two days away or so.''
Kar offered, looking back at the horses then at Ava.

[Ava]

Ava nodded "If you insist." She sat back down looking over at Faye "Don't get your hopes up girly. I need a foal like a whole in the head." The mare snorted and made a small neigh. Ava smiled and turned back to Karei "Once again thanks for all your help. I bet the least thing you needed was to have someone needing your help. And dragging you down."
