Karei smiled and shook her head.
''It's ok. I don't midn the company.''
She replied. She dug through her bags and pulled out her bear-skin blanket, handing it to her.
''It'll probably get cold tonight. We'll start out early tomorrow so get some rest.'' |

Ava nodded taking the blanket 'Thanks but what about you? Don't you need a blanket?" She wrapped the blanket around her tightly.

Karei shook her head and smiled.
''No, I'll be fine.''
She repled. Standing up, she walked over and untied arai, leading him back to where she had previously been sitting. The beast laid down with a tired groan and Kar nextled down behind his front legs, her head lying against his shoulder. |

Ava watched her get settled with her horse and for some reason wished that Faye was the same way. But they weren't, she wouldn't let Ava lay next to her for warmth any day unless she wanted warmth too. Ava lied down and closed her eyes and it wasn't too long until she fell asleep. This time dreaming of nothing in particular, maybe she didn't even have one.

By dawn Karei was already awake and feeding the horses. She was changed, though still wearing boys clothing, and soon enough had began to make some rabbit stew. Arai stood peascefully, munching on his food contently, as did Faye. The horses were still seperated, though. Kar looked up at Ava occasionally, to see if she had awaken or not. so far the girl remained asleep and Karei continued with her chores. |
