''He was struck down. He's find, I sent him to the outskirts.'' Karei said, a bit breathlessly. ''Stay on the horse, let me get on behind you. It seems Harind is taking you into battle instead of the other way around.'' Catching her breath quickly she walked up to the stallion, quicker than before but still cautiously. She rubbed his neck, making her movements quick to hurry the battle. ''Listen up, steed. This battle isn't between you and another beasts, its much more complicated. You cannot understand it all that well as of yet. Let us guide you, and do not guide us.'' She said quickly, then mounted. It was a bit of a mistake ot mount so quickly. Harind was settled, but her head spun and she let out a quiet groan. ''Darhin, there is a man in these armies trying to kill you...specifically you it seems. Who is he? He is very large, and wheres an armor of magic. His eyes are a bright green. Do you know him?''

Cody absorbs the blow holding his own against the dark knight. The strength of the knight is remarkable, but only that. He is no match in test of strength against a Colossus. Cody leaned on his great-hammer allowing his eyes to lock with the Dark Knights, the spirits rage around both men creating a literaly aura of tension. "You have much to learn Dark Knight, you have been misinformed about the Colossus. You can not match my strenght!" Cody pushed with such great strength that it sent the dark knight stumbling back. Cody charged bringing his hammer to his side and took a swing aiming for the startled knights head.

Everything she said sounding unfamiliar to him...except for when she mentioned the green eyes. At that exact moment memories came flooding back, those long fencing tournaments they use to have, with his green eyes staring at him, as if tempting him to fight. Those green eyes glaring at him as he told him to be a man and stop crying. Those green eyes staring coldly at him, as the townspeople threw him out of the city, with holding torches and shouting curses....
He pushed the memories aside, far aside. And answered, "No...I don't know anyone like that..." He could pratically feel her doubt as she sat behind him. He ignored her for a bit as they went riding off. Attacking the endless amount of foes that came against them. Harind was obeying him much more easily know...but he was still having much too fun.
Suddenly Darhin reared back in shock, startling Karei in the process. Cody's voice sparked in his mind. Asking for help. He turned to Karei, and could tell by the look on her face that she heard the message too. "Quick, lets go." He spurred Harind on and they galloped forth.

Gerold was only startled for a split of a second. He then duck underneath the swing, slashing upwards at the giant of a man. He did not wait to see if his blade struck or not but instead did a swift kick to the Colosus knee and got away from him. When he was far enough he glared at the man who was just getting up.
He was going to kill him, once and for all.
Cocentration all his might on his sword a deep red glow covered it, burning brighter by every second. He was kill this man, have his blood ran down on the battle field. Every second it burn brighter. He did not care if the Collosus attacked him, hit him in everywhere. His armor will protect the blunt of it, especially if he called on those spirits of his. Every moment the sword glowed, casting a dim shadow on all.

Cody's eyes watched as the Dark Knight jumped back and started to invoke some kind of dark magic. He cared not for this Dark Knight's magic. He reached down as blood began to flow from his side, not too mcuh but enough that he could feel it. He grinned, as he thought to himself, you drew my blood now yours will flow. Cody immediatly lept into the air only not at the Dark Knight but away. He knew that it was a trap he was no fool. He quickly engaged more of the surronding footmen. His great-hammer smashing clear through their armour and shields blasting bodies to shreds. But the entire time he never let his eyes of the Dark Knight.

Darhin slashed down at another Thernian who attacked them. He had to admit it was kind of odd attacking against his own home country, against his own people. There was many times right after he had killed off many Thernian's in a row that he had to steady himself and remember that they had forsaken him, that they were his people no more. They reached the hilltop where a sense unfolded. There was the knight, standing deep in some sort of trance, his sword glowing brightly. This was apparently the man who was asking for him, however Darhin couldn't recognize him at all. Mostly because of the helm that covered his entire face, wtiht he exception of his eyes. Cody was over by the side, attacking the archers, footmen, and swordsmen that came his way, but at the same time staring at the knight with a intensity that startled Darhin. Catching his eye, to let him know they were here, Darhin charged at the enemies. Hacking away at them, and feeling Karei behind him do the same. It was a long battle, but eventually all their foes were dead. They turned to the knight, who was still standing still, stationary. He shouted out to Cody, "Lets all gang up on him ad attack him together. If we do that we might be able to stop him before he unleashes whatever magic he is casting." As he said that Darhin stared at the man's eyes, they were so oddly familiar...

Cody stopped as the army began to retreat and left only the four on the field littered with bodies. Blood masked Cody's face and stained his white hair and armour. He sensed above all things that the spirits rushing maddenly around the Dark Knight. It was a trap by all means. He was about to cry out when he heard a whizz. Suddenly he could feel a sudden pain in his side. He looked down at his side an arrow had pierced his armour. He noticed that it was dripping in a fluid. Poison no doubt. Without warning he could feel himself getting dizzy, he began to stumble as he looked towards the hill. He noticed the man, The Circle's leader standing with a crossbow. Damion Armond stood holding his bow with a smile, his dark robe nearly covering his entire body. His hood was up but you could recongize him by his long reptillian tail. He grinned his razor sharp teeth glistening in the sunlight. He waved as he turned and began to walk away. Only his prey would not die, at least not today. Cody cried out in angush as he felt his body locking up in pain. He stumbled falling to the ground with a sudden thud. The last thing his eyes saw were Dahrin and Karei. "Run...fools....help yourselves." He moaned as he passed out. The poison was runnning quickly through his veins.

Karei saw Cody fall and cursed heavily. She looked to Darhin again. ''Go on, I'll help Cody. I'll be back to assist you.'' She said over the battle. As Darhin and Harind continued to gallop forth she leaped off, landing on the ground roughly. She stood up, shaking it off, and hurried to where Cody was. She steadied herself, then pulled the arrow out of his side quickly. She siffed the head, identifying th poison quickly, and let out a soft sigh. It wasn't fatal, not to him at least. Glancing around she spotted a large horse and quickly lead it back to them. She pulled off the saddle, tossing it aside carelessly, and made the horse kneel. A horse of his size would have to been taught to kneel, so she knew he would. She used a majority of her strength to place Cody on the horse's back, strapping him on sercurely with the girth from the saddle. Hurriedly she lead the great horse off the battle field, to the outskirts of town. arai limped up to where she was and she gently pat his nose. She lowered Cody to the ground gently and let the horse take off. Kar took some herbs from her pack, which was lying nearby where she had set up camp, and applied them to Cody's wound quickly.

Gerold watched as his brother finally showed. Riding behind him was that girl he had fought earlier. How she actually caught up with him he had no idea. He had been in such a rush to find his brother and kill him, only to end up forgetting all about him when he saw that the Collous was killing off his men. He had set out to aliminate the problem, turned out he shouldn't have bothered, the Circle had done its job.
He had watched, with great glee in fact, as the large man fell down. The girl had jumped off his brother's horse and had dragged him off to safety. Gerold was all alone up here with his brother. Oh, how much he longed to get up and cut the traitor's throat then and there. But he just had to wait. Just a few more seconds and his precious little brother would be no more.

Darhin knew that the knight was vulnerable. He was not even moving. He had to attack now he wanted an upperhand in the battle that was sure to come. Spurring Harind on he charged at the dark knight. Sword held firm. His slashed against his chest, however his armor had protect most of the blow. Turning around he charged one more, this time the sword drew blood as it cut deep into the exposed flesh on his arm. The knight flinched, but he did not cry out or move. Darhin was about to go in for a third strike when he suddenly saw the knight stand up and raise his blade high above his head shoutting something out in a kryptic language. Something in the back of Darhin's mind told him to run, to run fast. Spurring Harind on they galloped at full speed, dashing throught he hilltops, and going down into the valley. A brilliant light shone and gaint explosion sounded. At the very last minute Darhin created a frozen barrier around his body. And he knew no more.
When he finally woke up, Darhin saw that he law face down on the ground ontop of a pile of bodies. Quickly getting up, (and trying to get that stench out of his nose) he looked around for Harind. He found him limping over to him. There was a giant gash that curved down his left side, a scar would be there permantely.
He looked around and saw that the Thernian and Raelian army had retreated. What was left of the townspeople retreated, heading back to the ruins of their home. Darhin slipping his arm around his stallion, followed them leaving the battlefield behind.

The army was camped far outside of Zacoria, in small tents scattered about. Many men could be seen sitting down treating themselves or others. And those who were not injuried were either tending others, or burying the dead. Those who were not doing that were walking around camp talking amoung themselves. That was what two soliders were doing as they pasted General Qienid's tent. There they saw a small table come flying through and crash against the ground. They ran, getting as far away from the tent as possible.
Inside that very same tent, Gerold was in a fit of rage, grabbing every bit of funiture he could find and either smashing it or thowing it against a far wall. Qienid watched the tanturm, saying and doing nothing as Gerold demolished all of his possessions.
Seeing him Gerold grabbed him by the cuff of his tunic and slammed him against the wall, screaming "How could this have happened!!!!!!" before Qienid even had a chance to say a thing he was thrown across the room and collided in a heap by the door. Spring at him, Gerold grabbed him and stared at him with furious eyes, "I do not want to hear any excuses out of that pathetic mouth of yours, I left you with my army, my men at your disposal, and you go ahead and let them be defeated by one man, a single man who was a Collosus of all things! Your a disgrace, and if you were in my ranks I would have you killed for this, you hear me? Killed!" Qienid back away from him, his eyes wide with terror.
Gerold sneered, standing up so that he towarded above the man, "But it is not at my choice, and I can do nothing, however I can still punish you. How would you feel if when you go back to Rael if you find that beautiful wife of yours and that daunting son dead on the floor of your living room? Or that somehow all your lands and possessions had been pried from your hands and you are broke with no money or food to support yourself. And best yet, a crime you did not commit was charged against you and yoru stripped of your titles and have to live the rest of your life in disgrace? I can do all of this and more, I have powerful connections, ones that can make your life miserable for you. But you can evenge yourself, all you have to do is follow what I say," Gerold didn't even have to ask, he could see by the look on his face that Qienid would listen to every word he said, "go into Calamere and find a person by the name of Darhin Hasano."
