Karei smiled as she pulled Arai along the path, a bow and quiver of arrows strung across her back. She glanced over her shoulder to see Darhin with Harind and smirked. ''Ready?'' She asked as she mounted Arai. The stud seemed excited, never keeping his legs still. While she held in in place he would prance and count and strike the air with his front hooves. Kar turned slightly to see how Harind was doing and found him just as excited as Arai. A slight chuckle escaped her and she shook her head a bit.

"Of course..." He said, Harind was really excited. He could feel it in the way he moved. It was hard enough to handle him when he's normal, but now that he is excited it was down right impossible. But several years as a horse boy didn't go to waste, and he managed to keep the stallion relatively calm. He couldn't blame him, he was excited to, his hand glowing with a blue hue.

''Alright, let's go.'' Karei grinned, turning and facing forward. She leaned forward to get off Arai's back and instantly he lunged forward, racing down the path quickly. Her sea-blue eyes scanned for any sign of prey and soon enough she spotted some deer. The beasts started and took off, them hot on the trail. Kar put down the reigns and knotched her arrows, taking down three deer.

Darhin watched as Karei shot down three deers, and he went for the remaining ones, raising his hand he shot out four ice shards that imbeded themselves deep into four diffrent deer, one in the neck, another in the head, one in the side, and the last grazed the shoulder of the fourth deer, but did not kill it.

Karei notched another arrow, aiming for the last deer. It was pretty far off now, but she let the arrow loose anyways. The head drove into its hip and the stag stumbled and feel, not yet dead. Cursing she cantered Arai up to it and dismounted, quickly driving one of her swords through its heart. She wiped the sweat from her brow and exhaled, looking over at Darhin. ''This'll last us a while. Seven deer.'' She grinned, stringing the bow and quiver of arrows over her shoulder again. ''The horses can carry the deer. We'll have to walk.'' She said, picking up the deer she just killed and hauling it onto Arai's back.

He got off Harind, to help pick up the deer, he decided to take the three he killed, since they were the nearest to him, and hung them over the saddle. He then held onto the reigns as he moved towards Karei, offering to help her with the remaining deer.

''I got it.'' Karei said with a smirk, strapping the fourth deer down. ''Have you hunted before?'' She asked curiously, patting Arai as she turned to Darhin and arch a brow at him.

"I did hunt a bit when traveling back from Forai...but that was it, I usually just buy food from marketplaces in towns..." He admited as he walked besides her. He looked back on their food, and couldn't wait to start eating, but that meant actually finding a campsite first.

Karei nodded in response and turned down on a deer trail. ''Deer usually find open places to rest. This is bound to lead to a clearing where we can cook our food.'' She said, smirking. ''And then hopefully we can find a river or stream.'' She added thoughtfully, more to herself or Arai more so than to him.

"That's good to know," Darhin said, holding tightly onto Harind's reigns. He walked silently besides her, not saying a word. Finally they made it out into a large clearing, with a small hill to the left, and a very short cliff edge to the left, and directly in front, after a bit of empty space, was the rest of the forest. It created a small area, perfect for a campsite. He walked into the middle of it, letting go of Harind's reign so he could graze a bit, and pulled off the corpse of the deer, letting them drop to the ground.

Karei did the same, also letting down her bags and tack. She pulled of Arai's bridle and smiled as he nuzzled her before walking off to graze. ''I'm going to scout the area quickly. I'll be back to help ya skin the deer.'' She said, smilign slightly as she turned and walked into the forest.

Tyrael marched by foot leading his men over the hills and into the the thick forest. He smelled blood. He turned raising his hand to his 10,000 elite brutes. They were tired of marching. They hungered for battle. Two scouts returned, two young kids were hunting. They should attempt to avoid. Tyrael grinned. "I will meet them on my terms. I will not run this land is ours!" He turned to his men. "I will meet these children alone. They will luckely run to the king and cry to him that the BRUTES HAVE ARRIVED." He received a rauscous roar from the his men. Tyrael turned and began to walk down the path towards the young children his hand rested on his hilt. He just hoped to scare them if not kill one of them.

Darhin watched as Karei went off, and left him with the seven deer...he wasn't sure what to do with them. So he instead decided to leave them be for now. He walked over to Harind, who was eating a tuft of grass, he began to pet his horse, thinking to himself. He suddenly heard a noise, it was to hard to not hear, a sound of a thousand thundering footsteps. He looked wildly about, but saw no one. Suddenly the noise stopped, and he saw a nearby bush move, someone was coming. Drawing his sword, he glared at the area. "Who are you? And what do you want?"

Karei had barely reached ten feet when she heard Darhin speak behind her. Sighing she turned, taking to the trees and moving from one branch to the next. Just in the thicket she saw a man and then Darhin standing near Harind. Arai had walked closer, but still kept his distance as he snorted and pawed the ground. Kar eyed her horse's actions and then withdrew her blades slowly, making not a sound as she hovered on the branch and waited. With one hand she motioned to Darhin, letting him know that she was there.

Tyrael was no fool, the girl was poised for attack in the tree. The young man shouldn't move too much though. He would simply be cut in half. "Tell your King that the Brutes are here. AND YOU WILL NOT DEMAND ANYTHING OF ME. Child." Tyrael snorted at the young boy's ignorance. He really wanted to kill him. His eyes blazed underneath his helmet as he stared watching both individuals. Oh how he craved battle.

Karei nearly feel off the branch. ''What are you? An idiot?!'' She yelled, finally hopping down and landing roughly. ''Do we look fit to address the king?! We're traveling peasants. Go tell him yourself you lazy ass!'' She snapped, not caring about his last threat. She wanted to comment on the 'child' part of his 'threat' but decided not to. If he isn't smart enough to see we are years above adulthood then have it his way. Kar thought, almost growling.

Darhin glared at the man too, but couldn't help but wonder who the Brutes were, having never heard of the name. But the man must have thought it was important enough to make the first person he saw run off and tell everyone about it. If they were somehow connected to Thern and Rael, then this man was a fool, he shouldn't warn people that they were about to attack them, that was just plain cocky.

Tyrael laughed at her insolence. He decided to kill them right then and there. She was first. She seemed to have the cajones between the two of them. So death was her reward. The coward well he could care less. "Careful woman." Tyrael reached grabbed Dahrin's arm and twisted it around his back and drew his massive sword and held it up to his neck. "I don't like your lip, so one of you is going to die. Make your choice. Since you like to talk you get to pick." Tyrael growled, his eyes blazing.

Karei hesitated, growling slightly. Then a sly smile came over her features and she straightened. ''Brutes indeed. My horse is smarter than you.'' She said with a sigh, knowing fully weel that Darhin could get out of the grip. She ran her hand through her hair, smirking. ''You honestly think I'm going to let you kill one of us?'' She pulled out her blades again, sliding into a fighting stance.

Darhin turned his head and looked up at the man, "Your giving him a complement, Arai is a very intelegent horse. Maybe a pile of horse dung would be more precise." And with that he shifted his hand to grab onto the man's wrist. He could have just twisted it and gotten out of the way, but he didn't want to do that, instead, he sent an ice shard up into the man's wrist, making him shout in pain, and loosen his grip on his sword. Darhin spun out of his grasp, holding his sword out in front of him. He then charged at him, diving towards his side, and slashing at the man's hip.
