Darhin finally decided to break the silence, "I suppose we should go." He said as he stood up, mounting Harind swiftly, he would be glad to get out of this forest. Maybe he should go to Calamere and tell the King about Cody's death and give him the Amulet. After thinking about it he decided that was exactly what he would do. But he wasn't sure if Karei would come with him. He didn't ask, waiting to get out of the forest first.

Karei nodded a bit. Even though she was eager to get as far away from the Brutes she wasn't very eager to leave the forest. She didn't say anything as she destroyed all evidence of them being there and then mounted Arai. She followed Darhin along the trail, her thoughts elsewhere. |

They were being oddly quiet, and it was starting to worry him, "What's on your mind?," He asked, wondering what she was thinking of that would make her so silent for so long.

Karei looked up at him and opened her mouth, then closed it again. She was about to tell him that she was thinkign about Cody but decided that it was best not to bring him up right now.
''Nothing, really.''
She replied with a careless shrug. |

He looked at her suspiciously but decided to let the topic drop, "So where to now?" He asked a bit to her and a bit to himself. He still wasn't sure about whether or not to go to Calamere, and he still hoped she would come with him.

Karei replied with another shrug, ignoring the suspicious look he gave her. The path thickened, enough for a three-horse width, and she moved Arai up next to Harind. |

"I'm thinking of going to Calamere, its about time I told the king about Cody's death. Would you like to come with me?" He asked, as he guided Harind down the road. It was a beautiful day, sunny and no clouds in sight. He smiled, already starting to enjoy the day.

He smiled, "Alright, lets go." They were already outside the forst, and making their way thorugh the plains, because of how flat they were it wasn't long until he caught sight of it, "There!" He shouted pointing at the city's outline on the horizon.
