Tyreal quickly realized he was dealing with a gifted young one. He would adjust his stragey. They all die the same though. He turned just in time as Dahrin's sword just grazed his armour. He moved quickly as Dahrin flew by him, he turned and threw his chain with the meat hook at Dahrin's legs. Tyrael at the same time rolled grasping his sword and getting to his feet. He swung with his sword with a backhanded movement blasting three trees in half causing them to fall in Karei's direction. Tyreal grinned even if they found a way to defeat him, the Brutes would easily charge into forest and destroy them. They weren't Colossus afterall.

Karei swung ehrself onto Arai's back, just in time to avoid the trees. The horse snorted, arching his neck elegantly and lifting himself to his full height. He couldn't do this at Zacoria? She thought flatly, roling her eyes. ''You're probably right but I still wonder about this animal.'' She said with a slight sigh, almost forgetting about Tyreal. It pratically dawned on her that he was still here and she jumped off again. ''Sorry big guy, there'll be another fight soon. Maybe someone worth your skill.'' She told the stallion, mocking the man openly as she patted Arai's neck. ''Now, I believe you were going to 'kill' us?'' Kar raised a brow, looking at the man and then at Darhin.

He jumped over the chain, having it glide under him. He smirked as he heard Karei's comment, "Yeah, because your doing a bad job at it." He hoped to get this guy mad, if he did, then the man might make a mistake, one that he could use to his advantage. He quickly summoned his suit and enhanced his sword, making both stronger then normally. He kept his eyes locked on the man, waiting to see what he would do.

Tyrael smiled, the girl was aggorant that would be her downfall. The young man though although was quiet knew the danger. Good. At least he might have one worthy opponent. He watched the young man jump over the hook. Only he forgot what goes out must come back. Tyrael jerked the hook and chain around a tree and ripped it right out of the ground sending it hurling at the young man's back. He then turned and placed his sword in the ground and threw a large chunk of dirt and rock into the arggonant girls face. That should shut her up and put her on her butt.

Karei held up her arms quickly, both rock and soil striking her limbs. She instantly rushed forward, drawing both blades in her hands. Oh, right. Dirt will stop me. She thought as she swiftly attacked, one blade slashing toward his neck, the other down at his knees. Although tempted, she didn't glance back at Darhin to make sure he was alright. At the moment she was focused on her opponent.

Darhin turned around to see a large tree be sent hurdling his way, he rose one hand and sent a long, pole, made completely out of ice, cutting through the tree, splitting it in half. He landed back on his feet and turned towards the man. He charged at him, sword held firm, as he ducked towards the man's side, and attacked his flank with smooth, strong strokes.

Tyrael placed his sword firmly in front of himself blocking her swords with his giant cleaver like blade. He then kicked the blade forward pushing her back just far enough for him to duck to the side trying to avoid Dahrin's attack. Dahrin caught his side cutting him open. Just a flesh wound, but blood was blood. Now it was their turn to bleed. He whipped the chain around at waist height at Dahrin. He angled it so that if it missed Dahrin it would catch Karei. Easy, now. Tyrael had to tell himself. He knew he could easily call the Brutes. But then he would seem weak to his men. Not now not ever would that happen.

Karei blinked, seeing the angle of the chain and quickly calculating what should happen. She shifted her position, leaning onto her front leg and positioning her sword to cacth the chain should Darhin dodge, which she hoped he did. Her eyes, now icy blue in color, narrowed as she quickly formed a plan in her mind. Her senses gathered everything arpund them: strnegths and weaknesses, the trees (fallen and standing), horses, the deer carcass. A slight glint of mischief shone in her eyes now, a sly smirk forming on her lips.

Darhin was getting annoyed, did he really think the chain was going to work when it didn't work the first time, the guy had to try some new tricks. He jumped backwards leting the chain pass by him. But he then saw that it continued to curve its way towards Karei. He knew of her strength, and knew that she could stop it, but he still rose his hand, it pulsing with a blue glow, just in case she missed.

((ooc: gonna post now just...because I have a muse right now...>>)) The chain collided with her swords instantly and she kept her weight steady, then shifted her weight, now leaning on her back leg. She twisted her swords, trapping the chain between them. Her sly smirk remained and for a moment she seemed to be actually enjoying herself in this battle. With a quick thrust she had pulled the chain back, causing the man to lose his balance. Instead of going straight at him she pulled back her swords and jumped back, skidding over by Darhin. She leaned close and murmered two words meant only for his ears: ''His mind.'' She moved out of the way, regaining her position and praying that Darhin knew what she was talking about. She meant the amulet, tucked beneath his shirt. If he needed it she could distract the man, and was almost eager to now.

Tyrael smiled they were quite gifted. Both of them seemed to trained well in the way of arms. He knew he was wasting his time and was growing impatient. He pulled the hook back and it wrapped quickly around his arm as he pulled out a small horn and blew into it creating a thunderous roar. He walked backwards and stood on small stump making him seem taller. "If you desire your life, flee." As he spoke ten thousand Brutes marched behind him, they covered the hills of the forest and there was to go but to run. The Brutes stood battle ready with shields posed and swords in hands. Each Brute had to be at least six feet tall and at least a hundred and sixty pounds. They were all ugly and intimatiding, battle scars covering their faces. They were covered head to toe with full battle armour, and the armour was decorated with skulls and fire. They looked like demons and Tyrael was their master.

Darhin glared at the man, he didn't trust a word he said. He remembered what Karei said, he decided it was best to follow her advice. He held the Amulet in his hands and sent his conciousness colliding against the man, entering his mind. He dug for his memories, his thoughts, he was strong because of his magical abilites, plus the power of the Amulet the force would be unbearable. He knew even if he didn't get the information he wanted, the sudden assault would be enough to take the man off-guard.

Karei blinked, eyes widening at the sight of the men. Fight or flight fight or flight... She thought repeatedly. ''Arai!'' At the call the horse bolted toward her and she quickly mounted, already feeling stronger with the beast. Both Karei and Arai lunged at the man while Darhin had him, currently ignoring the army. She took ehr blades to slice him in half and/or sever his head from his body.

A thousand arrows ripped through the air flying at Karei, as she attempted nearly suicidal assualt. Tyrael dropped to one knee holding his head as he roared. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" The Brutes saw that their master was in trouble and they charged forward none would walk away. The front line nearly wrapped around the entire forest as they swooped in a half circle. They would soon surrond their master and protect him with their lives. Arrows were let loose with such precision that they could shoot a needle on a wall a thousand yards away. They were fired at both of the young children as the Brutes charged roaring.

Her swords managed to skim the man's shoulder and side, though nothing fatal. She winced as one arrow pierced her shoulder, two ehr back, and another her side. Quickly she ripped both out and quickly rushed over to Darhin, dismounting and letting Arai canter out of the way. Using both swords she managed to knock most arrows out of the way, standing behind Darhin so none would hit him. Once the Brutes were clsoe enough she moved out of the way and held her swords at an 'X' at the man's throat, using his body as a shield practically. The soldiers halted, as she predicted, and all hesitated, unsure of what to do now.

His connection was broken as a large barrage of arrows came soaring through, he hardly had time to stop them, he sent out a shield like figure, made completely out of ice, that blocked the arrows as they thudded into it. However even that was not enough to stop the barrage. A arrow hit him in his lower chest, just above his waist, two hit him on his side, and there was one close call where one arrow got very close to his head but he managed to duck in time. He watched as Karei held the man with her blades, he gave her a small smile. Ontop of Harind he glared at his surroundings, knowing now that a large group of people now hid among the trees.

Suddenly Tyreal was in complete control and realized he had two swords pressed against his neck. He grinned. Fool. He kicked his boot down connecting with her foot. Then he threw his head back in violent headbutt smashing her face. He then connected with a elbow to her gut. He grabbed her head and tossed at the young man. Both of them seem injured. He held his hand up to his neck and felt blood flowing. He chuckled. She should have killed him when she had the chance. Tyrael brought his arm and pointed once again at the two. Then his army came out of hiding. He made sure that they still had an exit. "Dahrin, if you know whats good for you. Take your little girlfriend and get out of here. I am giving one chance. Only because you are Gerold's brother and he deserves to kill you not me. Get in my way again though and you will die at my hand.' Tyrael's eyes blazed as held his hand up making sure that his massive Brutes didn't move up any further.

The last thing Karei remembered was standing behind Tyreal with ehr swords at his neck. Next thing she knew she had collided witht he ground, both her lip and nose bleeding. She dragged the back of her hand across her face, wiping away most of the blood and smearing the rest. Her sea blue eyes scanned the army. Charging into an army attacking a village that had some defense to help her was one thing. Despite her and Darhin's strnegth they could be a match for this. ''Coward.'' Kar sneered as she stood up, her eyes shifting to an icy color. ''Hiding behind your army like some low-life coward. You couldn't do a thing without these Brutes could you?'' She spat, clenching her fists around the hilt of her sword and pratically growling. Dammit, I knew it's smarter to get the hell out of here but this bastard really deserves a good blow tot he head. A few good blows to the head. ''If we stayed we wouldn't die by your hand, we'd probably die by your army's hands.''

(Mark, you do realize that Darhin froze you to the ground? Whatever, I'll modify it...jerk...) Darhin watched as Karei fell to the ground, he ran towards her, but stopped when he heard Tyrael's words, and saw the army appear out behind him. He glared at the man outstreching his arm, he found the water in the air, and summoned a single wall, that ejected out fromt he ground and cut off the army from them. He glared at the man, knowing full well that he could still hear him, "I'm an elemental, as I'm sure my brother has told you, if I wanted to I could kill you here and know, all I need is one good ice shard through the heart. Leave us alone, and crawl back into whatever hole you came out of." He growled, his eyes narrowing at the man. He knew they couldn't take on an entire army. His wall should hold them off for a while.

(OCC-Oh my bad Tom lol) Tyrael laughed. The petty wall would hold them back for maybe ten seconds and if the children were going to run they better do it now. Tyrael smiled at Dahrin's threat. Tyrael turned to his archers. He nodded and gave a signal with his hands. "Fire!" Instantly fire arrows began to pelt the ice wall. It wouldn't hold up very long. Then when it would fall, he would kill them. He could care less if it was him doing it or his army. They were nothing. Dahrin though he might keep alive. Then feed him to his brother Gerold. IF Gerold could be found.
