Zacoria-The Return

Where is he? Gerold scowled as he started walking back and forth in his small tent. It had been several days, and still Qienid had not returned to him, or even contacted him. He was getting angry, did the fool want his family to be killed? His patience was wearing thin. Looking out he thought of his brother, a thing that was becoming more and more common after the battle. He use to never think of him before, but now that he saw him, alive and healthy, it unleashed an obsession in him, a thrist to see his blood spilt.

All he had to do was wait for that fool of a general to come back...

He looked at the failing sunlight, and finally made his decision, throwing away the flap to his tent, he shoved the rider off the first horse he saw, and rode down into the nearby town, there he would look for his brother's trail and track him down. It was only a matter of time...

[Karei]

Karei's eyes widened in surprise and she swallowed.
''Let's make camp...I don't think we should intrude on the town just yet. I'm sure they are wary of newcomers.''
Kar said as she stood up, dusting off her brichers, looking over at the town in the distance. She sighed, grabbing her bow and arrows, which she only used for hunting.
''I'll be back soon.''
She said, bridling Arai and mounting him quickly. With a soft jab of her heals she sent Arai into a light canter, heading into the woodlands.

Darhin nodded, "That sounds good to me, is that alright with you Orion?" So this man was the first one of Cody's tribe...that must mean he has similiar powers to Cody's which explained the sudden fireball appearing out of thin air...still he didn't understand, wasn't he dead for eons, why is he here now? Does it have something to do with elimation of his race? He would have to find this out.

[orion]

Orion followed them.
"It would be wise to rest I guess, maybe I need to let my mind heal. It has been awhile since I was in flesh. I will try to answer anyquestions you have, but I can't remember everything."
Orion sat he felt some kind of strange energies raging through his hands but he didn't understand them.

Gerold walked torugh the town, taking pride from what his men had done, it wasn't a complete lose afterall, the streets were deserted. Cleaned away from people, and the buildings utterly destroyed. Only that proved to be a problem for his tracking, for the debris covered any possible footprints, which made the tasks of finding such a old path nearly impossible.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw a large billow of smoke rising from the treetops, he silently walked toward it, his footsteps not making a sound, as he approached the campsite.

Two deer. That was what she had caught. Hoisting them up on Arai's flank she tied them securely down and murmered a thanks for their life. She mounted in front of her kill and lead arai back toward the camp.
From on the hilltop she noticed something at the distance. It appear to be someone on a horse, but who she couldn't tell from her distance. Shrugging one shoulder she urged Arai back down to the campsite.
''Here, this should be enough for us.''
Kar said with feigning cheerfulness, smiling as she dismounted and pulled the deer off from Arai. She let him graze and set the deer down. Pulling her knife from her boot she began to skin one slowly. He sea-blue gaze traveled up to where the horseman was curiously.

Darhin happily ate the food, as he sat down with his two companions, he noticed that Karei seemed distracted, looking out past their campsite, "What's wrong?" He asked her, also gazing out into the direction she was looking, but not able to see a thing.

Orion's eyes locked onto the dark knights. He saw him coming a mile away. He could sense that dark prescence. Orion stood up and began to walk towards it. His eyes locked as a slight blue flame lite up in his eyes. Today those who would hunt the Colossus would pay in blood. He didn't even remember how to fight or what he would fight with but his body, and his mind raged like a caged demon.

Gerold saw the man charge at him, it was dark out, so he couldn't tell if the man was the same Collosus as earlier, but he guessed it was due to his large frame. Gerold narrowed his eyes as he saw him get close enough, spurring his horse, he let him rush at him, unsheating his sword, he would make sure that if his horse didn't tramble the man, he would slay him with his blade.

Kar looked up as Orion began to leave.
''Orion?''
He didn't seem to hear her, but cntinued his way up to the rider. Soon enough, she recognized the man. Cursing under her breath she grabbed aRai and mounted him, cantering up nearby. She pulled her steed to a stop near the two, her gaze resting on the Dark Knight for a moment. She waited for Orion to attack...Karei planned to attack directly afterwards. Unsheathing her swords she remained still, glaring toward the unnamed man with a deep hatred.

Darhin watched as Orion left, and then Karei, one after another. He knew something was happening, something bad to get them to act that way. In a single motion he unsheathed his sword and conjured up his magical armor and enhanced his sword, to its fullest strength. He grabbed Harind, but his horse would not move, being so stubborn. He was still hurt, and tired from his long trip. Darhin decided to leave him behind, deciding after the battle he deserved a bit of a break.

He ran up catching up with Karei and Orion as he saw the knight riding down upon them.

Orion stopped short his blazing with rage. He could feel the energies, the power tearing through his veins like motlen metal. He steeled himself as the Dark Knights blade glistened in the glowing flame that surronded Orion. Orion's body seemed to be altering from a fleshy color to a silver glisten, like a metal alloy. He roared a roar that echoed into the night.

Gerold saw the man, who from this close up he could definitely tell was not the Collosus from earlier, and watched as his skin started to change, turning into a silverlike texture. Though not knowking what witchcraft this may be, he did not care, his sword Slitenenid held out horizontally ready to slice the man in half when he gets close enough.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw the girl appear, the same one as earlier and following her was...oh, there he was. A hatred burned within him when he saw his brother, he spurred his horse on at an angle, so that even if his blade missed the man he would continue riding at his brother. Tonight he would would avenge his parents, and leave the foul thing to rot on the ground with all the other corpses he had slain throughout the years.

Sea-blue eyes moved from the dark knight to Darhin. Why does he want him dead so badly? She wondered, spurring Arai towards her ally. She came to a stop beside him, extending one hand out.
''He's intent on making sure you die. Orion and I don't matter that much, it seems.'
She murmered, keeping her gaze on the knight.
''Can't you tell me anything about him? Why he wants to kill you? Any knowledge we can use to our advantage.''

"I don't know!!" he shouted frantically, his eyes wide, the man's dark black armor shone thoughout the darkness as his vivid green eyes, glared down at him, glowing with a ill concealed rage, and a bloodlust to see his body shewn across the forest floor. What has he ever done to this man? He has never even met him before!!

But as if to contradict him, a tantilizing voice in the back of his head told him to look closer, to look at the eyes, leaning across Harind's neck he took a better look at the knight, at his pale green eyes, and when he did a flash of recognition crossed his face. "Gerold!" He shouted and spurred his horse into a gallop, getting closer to his brother, one he has not seen and has missed for a long time.

Karei started when Darhin shouted out and galloped on...towards the knight. Did he just cry out....in relief and a bit of joy?! Kar turned Arai forward and urged him into a gallop. She moved her body up over his neck, getting off his back so that he could move faster.
''Darhin, wait!''
She snapped, wondering what the hell he was thinking. Didn't he know this man wanted to kill him? As in stab him through the heart and leave him on the ground to rot - kill? She cursed slightly, pushing Arai faster to catch up.

Orion watched the assumed brothers run to greet each other. One with the intent with murder, the other with the intent of embrace. A compormise would have to be made. Orion let lose an unbalanced wave of energy creating a barrier barring the brothers from reaching each other. The wave was a brillant blue and full of intense heat. Orion roared he could feel the energy running through his body like an intense heat. His locked with the Dark Knights. He could feel the sins, the burden of his murders. He could only assume that some of those deaths were Colossus. Orion eyes burned like a brillant fire.
"Prepare for the end Dark Knight. The balance of light and dark will be finished today. The light shall exstingush the dark like an eternal flame. The eternal flame of the Colossus." Orion charged his body completely silver and his hands engulfed in a burning nova like fire.

Gerold looked down at the man, he silently reached a hand to touch the wall, it was a magical barrier, and was strong, but his armor disables and absorbs all magical energy, just to test it, he reached through the wall, making sure the man did not see, and found his hand could go through it. Smiling he withdrew his hand, storing up the information that he could leave and confront his brother anytime he wanted. Turning to the man, he rose up his sword, just in time to hear the man's speech. He laughed defiantly, "Boastful words indeed...lets see if you can match them." He held no fear for this man, his powers may be strong, but his armor would protect him, the man needed to do much more to defeat him.

He charged at him, the stolen horse turning up loose rocks as he neared his foe, his sword ready to slice through him. As he neared he saw the man's hands aflame. His skin silver, what type of witchcraft was he calling upon? It did not matter, he would fall just like all the others.

Darhin scowled as he met the barrier, he pushed against it with all his might. Still it did not budge. He began to cast against it, sending waves of water crashing against it, large shards of ice pounding against it, yet the invisable barrier would not waver. Sighing he slumbed against Harind just as he heard Karei approach, "I've stopped...not that I had a choice in the matter." He glared at Orion, hoping he would not hurt his brother, he knew there had to be an explaination, he must not have known it was his brother he was attacking. Its the only logical explaination...

[Karei]

Karei finally reached Darhin, as he had stopped near the wall. She felt Arai roughly stop and snort as she turned.
''Are you crazy?! He wants to kill you! Murder, stab you through the heart or decapitate you. He wants you dead. How many other ways can I put this?''
She said with a growl, looking over as the man,Gerold she assumed, urged his horse to confront Orion. She was sure Orion would be ok...she had seen Cody fight and Orion had to be just as good. If not better.
