Karei blinked, listening to Orion's words. She was about to respond when she heard someone call out Darhin's name. Her mouth shut instantly and she looked up. Kar blinked, looking from Darhin to the man. After a moment she just shook her head and yawned. ''I'm gonna get some rest.'' She murmered, grabbing her skin blanket and wrapping it around ehr tightly. She laid down next to Arai, her head resting on his shoulder as she curled up just by his front legs.

Orion stood up as he stared into the priests eyes their was a spiritual connection of sorts. He nodded greeting the priest as he sat back down and watched Karei fade to sleep.

Darhin nodded, "Yes it is a terrible thing indeed, however the army that did it is long gone and the only one who is left is..." He turned to the direction where Gerold was laying not to long ago, and was shocked to see that he was gone, his body had seemingly disappeared into the thin air. His sentence stopped short as he stared at where his brother once was.

((Karei is impatient so she's posting a few hours ahead. Sorrz! but after three dayz the impatient do something xD)) Karei bolted upright, catching her breath quickly. Another nightmare? They're usually gone by now... She thought, rubbing her forehead impatiently. She noticed the others were a coupl feet away. Awake or not she couldn't tell, but she didn't want to chance it. Arai had woken up, to and his head turned to her curiously. ''Sshh, go back to sleep. I'm alright.'' She whispered to him quietly. She stood up and crept back to the fire, which had dimmed noticeably. She took up a stick and stoked the fire until it cackled back to life.

Orion sat up listening to someone moving in the flames of the fire. He noticed it was Karei and he stood stretching his massive limbs. He sat back down next to Karei a friendly smile crossing his face. "I must thank you. You have been very brave and kind. Your understand is very much apperciated." Orion's eyes grew distant as he stared into the fire. "I must liberate my people and bring them back. I cannot stay forever."

"Very well," Darhin sighed, "I'm willing to help you if Karei is, but we can't just go up and leave, Karei and I both recently fought in a battle, and I know I am exhausted. Why don't we go back to Calamere and rest for a few days, that way we can buy and stock for supplies and try to find others who are willing to help us." He said this to Orion in his most reasonable tone, because he knew that he had only a limited amount of time here on this earth. But he knew his limitations, he had to rest before he starts another journey so soon.

Karei jumped a bit when she saw they were awake. She relaxed and let out a quiet sigh, not saying anything as she brought her knees to her chest and rested her chin on her knees, arms wrapped around her calves.

Darhin saw that Karei was awake, and then suddenly remebered all the magic he had done in front of her. He visably flinched, he knew he would have to explain, but that could wait until the morning...he hoped.

After a moment of silence, she glanced up, looking at Darhin. ''Maybe you should explain. I'm kind of confused right now. Why is your brother trying to kill you? And what about....the water?'' She said quietly, her voice hushed. Biting down on her lip she adverted her gaze back to the fire, watching it as if it was the most interesting thing.

Darhin sighed, he should have known he couldn't get off that easily, he glanced back at Orion who was appearantly still thinking on what he just told him and scooted over towards Karei, "Its a bit of a long story. I'll shorten it as best I can. I was born and raised in Thern, who, though very different from the Golden Lands, share their intense distrust of elementals. It was acutally Gerold who found out about my powers. I always knew he was jealous of me, he never was good at hiding it, I use to always be able to beat him in fights, something he always despised since I was eight years younger then him. He was spoiled by my parents, since being the oldest, he would recieve the titles...oh, I forgot to mention I was a son of a baron back in Thern...so seeing the chance to get back at me he told the entire town about my powers and I was forced to run for my life. I hadn't seen anyone from that town since. Well...except for Gerold now." He sighed, exhausted by the retelling, but at the same time relieved. He leaned back against a tree looking up at the sky.

Karei blinked, listening to his story. She looked over at him. ''I'm so sorry. But that does explain a lot...I always had a hunch that you were hiding something like that.'' A weary smile spread upon her lips. ''So...why didn't you say anything about being an elementist?'' She asked curiously, tilting her head to one side.

He sighed, turning to her, "My entire town, my friends and family turned on me when they found out. After I came to the Golden Lands I kept this secret with me to the grave. No one even knew until recently. I just have trouble opening up, have trouble trusting others I suppose. I'm sorry to have kept this from you. I wanted to tell you but.... I just couldn't."

Karei shook her head slightly, smiling partly. ''Don't apologize, I understand.'' She said softly, reaching over and stoking the fire a bit more. ''Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. Promise.'' Kar added, glancing over at him with a reassuring smile.

He smiled, "I know you won't. I trust you." He looked over at her once more before deciding to sit by the fire. It was very late by now and very cold. The fire refreshed him, and brought him warmth. He looked over to where Karei sat and moved over a bit, so there was room for her to sit by the fire to if she wanted to.

Karei blinked, and then smiled. She noticed he moved over and she took a seat by the fire. She held her hands out close to the flames, warming them quickly.

Orion watched Dahrin and Karei talk and move closer to the flames. It was to say the least endearing. There seemed to be some kind of romance maybe? Orion was eons old he had seen it all. "Your story is one of exile, young Dahrin. I understand your plight. I thank you both for your aid and willingness to help me return my children to this plane of existence. I must start to plan and you Dahrin will be very much needed as you would know much more about Thren and Rael then I would. In fact have you ever been to their fortress? I know I have seen it once in vision as it was being built and it was like a mountain of stone and mortar but that was it. Can you tell me anymore?"

"Actually I've been to the Thernian Castle many times, as is custom for all nobles. But I have never entered the Rael Castle, do you know which castle is built over the ruins?" He asked still unsure about the entie situation.

Kar crept back, settling near the sleeping Arai again. She leaned back, content with listening to their conversation for the moment.

Orion replied with effiency. "I believe they have a joint Fortress one that both kindoms reign in. When the alliance was built they created something of a war factory. They produce armour and weapons en masse. They train their troops. I also believe that fortress was where the Circle was created. The ruins are I know worshipped by the Circle founders and warlocks. They study it in almost like a scientific manner. It was all revealed to me long ago."

"Then I would know nothing of that...when I left it was before the Alliance was formed, when the two countries were still at war with each other..." He said still unsure how the Alliance came about, it probably had to do with the wish to end the fighting or their equal hatred against the Golden Lands, "But who knows? We may get lucky and find out the Fortress is built ontop of a place I know of..."
