Orion walked into the streets of Zacoria, it had been abandoned. Empty houses and burnt out remenants of homes lined the street. They had passed a mass grave just outside of town. Still swords lined the streets along with arrows. The smell of death continued to linger, a dark presence was cast over the town. Orion could feel something as he walked the streets. "This is Zacoria? It is so dead. Tell me what happened exactly."

Darhin frowned, "Its a sad story actually, this town was attacked by Thern and Rael, they plundered the town, and slaughtered the townspeople. But, amazingly enough, they were defeated, we, that is me, Karei, and a man named Cody, managed to push them back." He sighed, "But the deaths were to great, and the army is only at half of its strength, how knows what they will do next..." He looked around the town, destroyed though it was he caught sight of some of the survivors who were vigouriosly working on rebuilding their homes, "So is this where your suppose to be? Or do you need to go into the valley, where the bulk of the battle took place?"

"Let us...Cody...Dahrin." Orions eyes immedialtly locked onto a huge hole in the street that seemed to be blasted by a hammer. He ran his fingers in it then turned. "Let us go to the battle ground. Dahrin, the dark knight was here wasn't he?"

"Yes, the knight was here, but only for a short while." He frowned, "Why are you so interested in him? You haven't met him before...have you? As for the battle ground, its this way," He said pointing towards the far end of the town, where the buildings stop and two large hill could be seen in the distance, "Follow me." He murmered as he walked towards it.

Karei lead Arai toward them, picking up on their conversation almost instantly. She noticed Orion run his hand along the hole where Cody's hammer struck the ground. ''We're not sure where the Dark Knight is.'' She then paused, remembering Darhin's odd behavior around the Knight. ''Darhin, do you know anything about the knight?'' She asked, blinking curiously.

"The Dark Knight is in my dreams....he haunts me. He is darkness. He...hurts people. He is not good." Orion began to walk down the street running his hands along the wall of a home. "Thren and Rael, their armies want to hurt people...my people."

"He haunts your dreams? Now that's strange," He heard Karei come up, and heard her question, "No I do not know him." Though that wasn't necissarily true, the knight had worn a helm with his armor, covering his face, except for those eyes, which seemed so oddly familiar. They continued to walk together in silence, until they reached the valley. There a flood of memories came back to him. There still was fallen weapons, and blood spilt onto the ground. It was so quiet...so silent.

''Orion, does the name 'Cody' bring anything to mind?'' She asked curiously, pulling off Arai's tack and setting it down, letting him go and graze. [/color]

"I have met Cody...." Orion continued to walk amounst the the ruined battefield. The smell of blood and death was stagnant, nearly overpowering. Orion walked to a broken arrow still bloodstained and picked it up his eyes filled with tears.

Darhin was shocked at this, "When? When have you met him?" This man was a friend of Cody's ? Then he hadn't to fear of any trap, no friend of Cody's would be a Thernian spy. He felt almost ashamed for thinking it. He looked up onto the mountaintop, there was the last time he had seen him, shot down by an arrow, and taken off towards saftety. It was a shame that his last memory of him was being so white, and frail as the posion worked through him, it was such a contrast from who he really was.

''You knew Cody?'' Karei blinked in surprise, then bit her bottom lip. She wodnered if he knew about Cody's death or not. She sat down in the grass, an exhausted sky escaping her.

"Yes Cody and I speak often. He is very happy. I have said to you both that he misses you." Orion held the arrow in his hands his tears drying up. "This is the arrow that pierced him. I can almost feel his pain." Orions eyes gazed towards the sky distant, it was getting dark.

He can speak to the dead! That was the first thought Darhin had as he watched Orion walk away. Who was this man, and what connection did he have with Cody. Frowning Darhin walked next to Karei, who looked as shocked and as confused as he felt. He had a feeling that Orion was going to have many surprises in store for them.

''Speak to him? That's not possible...he's dead...'' Karei said, shaking her head slightly. She placed her hand on her forehead, brows furrowed with confusion once more. ''Orion, what's going on?''

"No not dead..." Orion's head began to hurt his eyes got intense. "He has left this world. That is why I am here." His eyes turned bloodshot. The spirits began to rage around him. He could feel them tearing at his very fiber. He let out an anguished roar as a intense blue flame tore up out of the field a hundred feet away. The fireball was massive rising into the sky and illuminating the sky for miles.

"Whats that?" Darhin asked, staring at the giant fireball, as Orion started to tilt to the side, as if dizzy. He put a comforting hand on Orion's shoulder as he watched as the fireball disapated. He tuned to Orion, who was regaining his senses, "So, why are we here? Have you found what your looking for yet?"

Orion struggled his body seemed to breaking with uncontrollable energies. "I am sorry I apologize. It has been so eons...." Orion stumbled then righted himself to his massive height. "We must go to the king and tell him of Cody's passing on. The world must know...so they can prepare. Dahrin, War is here. Karei...the time will come." Orion's eyes gazed deeply over the field. "The end of the beginning and the beginning of the end is here. We must go."

''Orion, you're not making sense. Tell us what is going on.'' Karei replied, shaking her head in confusion. ''I can't go any further yet. And I doubt that Darhin and Harind can, either. We've barely rested since the battle. And it is late. Traveling at night isn't wise.'' Kar sighed, running her hand through his hair. ''Just tell us. enough with the secrecy.''

Darhin glared, "I agree, tell us what you know, this secrecy has gone on too long. And what do you mean by the beggining of the end? This sounds big, too big, and it is unwise to go into something like this with our eyes closed, tell us all you know." he also felt tired, they would have to rest in the town tonight, he wondered where all the townspeople were sleeping.

Orion smiled something he hadn't done in eons. "So be it. I am the First Colossus pure of blood and spirit. I am here to usher in the end of this war. And begin again. Does this answer some of your questions. I don't remember everything about myself because it has been eons since I walked this mortal world."
