Zacoria-The Return

Orion watched as Gerold charged. Orion let looses with a blast of what could only be described as cosmic fire. Blasting Gerold's horse in the chest seperating its ribs. Orion roared as he lept into the air hoping to catch Gerold off guard.

Gerold saw the man jump up at him, and he jumped off his horse and rose his blade to met him, slashing at his hands, as he landed to the ground. He watched as the horse stumbled, and fell, dying on the ground. He looked up at the man, who had landed on the other side, waiting for him to make the next move.

Darhin growled, "Your wrong, you have to be. He wouldn't do that, ever. I have to get in there," He pushed against the barrier, using all the strength he could. It still didn't move. Yelling he slammed his fist into it, but he could have done the same thing to a brick wall for all that he got out of it. He slid to the ground, only hoping one of them lost so that he could get inside.

Orion looked at his hands slowly silver liquid began to sop from his hands. The liquid lite the ground on fire. His eyes blazed, as his entire body engulfed it self in flames. He then calmed his body down as he created out of pure energy a massive sword. He back flipped towards Gerold his sword held high its blade like huge blue flame.

Karei quickly dismounted, moving over to him.
''Whoever he is he obviously changed. Did you not see him slaughter all those innocent people in Zacoria? Not just men but women and children. He killed an old woman in front of my eyes. He would have killed me but he didn't because he wanted to kill you.''
She said with a growl, really wanting to smack him in the head to see if it would get some sense knocked into him.

Gerold looked as the man back flipped through the air and landed infront of him, in his hands was a large silver sword, where he got it from he did not know. The sword seemed to be ablaze with the same fire that had been covered in the man's hands. Holding Sliteninid in front of him he slashed down at him, in a strong, firm arc.

A look of doubt crossed his face, but only for a second, "He's a knight, he was just doing his duty, and how do you know he wants to kill me? Did he ever say it? He just came looking for me, you don't know if it was to harm me." He got up and started pasing a bit, he had to go in there.

[Karei]

Karei growled, watching him.
''It's his duty to kill innocents?! To murder women and children that pose no threat to the army? Look down at the town, at what he did! And he went looking for you with his sword raised and a murderous, not kind, look in his eyes.''
She crossed her arms, watching him.
''Would you stop pacing before I use Arai's reigns to tie you down?!''

Orion raised his blazing sword and stopped Gerold's enchanted blade cold. When both weapons collided sparks blazed and a fire erupted off both blades. Orion leaned into in his blade pushing his eyes locked onto Gerold's. Orion could feel memories begin to flood back. Memories of creation long ago. The gods. He was starting to remember...

He felt the man's sword collide with his own, he forced himself to bend his knees, the heels of his boots actually digging into the ground. In a single motion he snaped his wrists, shifted his postion and threw the blade back. Leaving the man vulnerable, with his back leg he kicked at him in the chest, hopping to make him loose his balance.

Orion stumbled the man's boot hitting his chest and sent him back a few feet. Orion grinned as he threw his hand forward his palm pointed at the ground underneath of Gerold. A massive blue flame erupted underneath of Gerold. Orion saw the opportunity he created and charged swinging his blade at Gerold's shoulder and chest.

Darhin's eyes widened as he saw his brother stumble, fire had darted from the ground, heading straight towards him. Gerold had jumped above the flames, only to be hit by Orion's sword. He watched as he fell to the ground, Orion's sword pointed at his neck.

He wouldn't let him die. Concentrating on the barrier, he knew that it was energy, he could sense it, it was the pure energy of the elements, of air no doubt. But he needed to distrub it. Gathering up his energy, and not caring if Karei saw, he found the small bit of water paritcals in the air made in the wall. He bound them togeth, making them denser, and then unleashed them, creating a small hole in the barrier, shown by the sudden downpour of water, running through he did not look back.

Running at his full speed he got in between Orion and his brother, standing over the fallen form of his brother, outstrectching his arms, and looking up at Orion, "I won't let you hurt him." He said his eyes defiant.

[Karei]

''Darhin, don't be stupid!''
Karei snapped, rushing over quickly. He's a water element? That explains a lot... She thought, though pushed the thought aside, running up beside Darhin. Instead of facing Orion she turned to the fallen knight, both her swords unsheathed.
''C'mon, Darhin. Look at him. That's not love or kindness in his eyes.''
She murmered, looking over at him. Her swords were extended to the knight, ready to strike if needed.
''Why would I lie about this? Just turn around and look at him closely.''
She looked over at Orion, then back to Darhin while her swords remained pointed at Gerold.

Gerold looked up at the girl. Who had her swords pointed at him, in a swift motion he rolled out of the way and picked up his fallen sword. Glaring at the girl for interfering at the worse possible momment he swung his sword around, to sever her head from the rest of her body. Slitinenid sung to him, its rage and its thirst for blood fueling him. A dark shadow seem to cover him as he lunged at the girl.

Orion suddenly felt dizzy as his memories continued to flood back. He slowly felt the sword dissapate. His powers were getting out of control. Orion turned his back on Karei and Dahrin, walking away from them. He couldn't control it. His power over running his body and mind. He let out a roar as a huge blue fireball fell from the sky crashing into the ground. Without warning it started to rain small blue flames all over the field. Orion's roar continued as he ran to the top of the nearby hill. His mind felt like it was on fire as memories images so much came rushing back. He felt such pain and agony. As Orion clenched his fists he could feel himself engulfed in blue flame. He was losing control.

One sword raised, blocking his. She side stepped, making sure she was in between him and Darhin, and moved her other sword to his shoulder while she had his blade caught. Her sword pierced therough, just between the armor, and she instntly pulled away, rehandling her blades. Eyes turned to Darhin, pratically daring him to watch the fight.

Darhin was watching, he saw the way his brother attacked his friend, watched as his eyes glowed with a sinister intent, he watched as the fire started to rain down on all sides, he watched and he finally understood. And with the realization came a cold-hearted hatred.

In one motion jumped onto Gerold's back, tearing him away from Karei and throwing him to the opposite edge, he unsheated his sword and pointed it at his brother. He connected to that power within him and summoned up his armor and the covering on his sword, holding his blade in one hand with the other, he rose his hand and sent three consective ice shards, long and sharp, pounding into his chest. Bearly doing any damage, but enough to make Gerold annoyed. He then charged at him, his blade shining, as it caught the light from the flames.

Orion felt the sudden uncontrolable power overwhelming his body, his roar became a scream. As his body exploded a huge blue flash followed by silence then a massive roar of a huge nova like explosion rocked the entire field, engulfing all those on the field. A white flash followed the roaring blue fire. Then all was still.

The three shards was sent hurdling at him in three bright flashes, hitting him in the chest, the shoulder and just below the throat. Any one of them would have killed a normal man, but they just bounched off him. However the reprecussions from his armor forced him to flinch, cluctching a side. He looked up to see his brother running at him. He jumped to the side, meeting his blade, and pushing Darhin back, after that he swung again, aiming for his head, and watched as his brother just barely dodged the blow. He watched as he slashed up at him, and Gerold blocked it easily, and in fact, sent the sword flying out of his hand. Grabbing Darhin by the throat he lifted him off the ground, looking into his eyes he said, "Long time no see little brother."

As Darhin moved to meet his brother in combat, Karei glanced over at Orion worriedly. Just when everything was finally still she turned her gaze back to the brothers and found Gerold at Darhin's throat. Swiftly she took a hold of her swords and moved forward. Her blade pushed agaisnt the back of his neck, just between his helm and armor.
''Put him down. You can do it alive, ut I think just taking your head would be easier.''
She growled low, her opposite sword at her side.
